The John Litz Challenge

At the 2008 Founder’s Day, our Brother John Litz gave out a challenge to all of the Tennessee Chapter, both active and alumni, to give.  He challenged all to give what they could.  Not just money, but of yourselves.  He spoke of the commitments we all made to FarmHouse when we pledged our beloved Fraternity. And now, as alumni we should continue that commitment. John wanted to communicate the need that is coming by starting something.  John gave the house 500 dollars, challenging other alumni to make the same donation.  If so, John said he would raise his donation by 500 more dollars!  Giving is needed to take us into the next 50 years of FarmHouse.  With our fraternity’s present condition, the time will soon come when we need more than what can be generated in a year by the active men.  So think on it and decide what is right for you.  Help us continue our rich tradition.  Remember it all began with one commitment.

Imagine what a commitment could bring if every Tennessee Alumni gave 100 dollars.  The foundation would be laid to begin the process of new housing.  So help us brothers to continue our fraternity into a new era.
